My name is Marta Strýčková, and I am the founder of Milo.

I graduated in textile design at TU in Liberec and have a long-term interest in living culture, sustainability, and craftsmanship. I design and print my own fabrics, upholster, and renovate furniture. I lead upholstery courses and prepare workshops and consultations focusing on interior design.

I follow the philosophy of sustainable housing culture, based on the idea that most of the things we need for quality living are already in circulation.

My goal is to show you that an interior designer doesn’t necessarily have to design everything for you but I can guide you through the process. I’ll teach you to perceive your home as a functional whole, where every member has their space and importance. Everyone matters, even your pet.

Together, we’ll go step by step through all the questions related to quality living. I’ll often act more as a coach than a designer. I’ll encourage you to make changes based on your needs and possibilities.

I am currently taking an interior design course, conducting my own upholstery workshops, and hosting seminars on Sustainable Housing Culture – Live Your Own Way.

You might have seen my work on the Czech Television show Bydlet jako.
